Today, I attended The Theatre Royal, Windsor‘s age, colour and gender-blind production of Hamlet, after my first day working for Turtle Key Arts (SEE MORE INFO HERE), and was blown away by the actors’ performance of this classic Shakespeare play: in particular, Sir Ian McKellen, as Hamlet; who was able to consistently deliver their engaging, emotional and energetic tour de force for a gruelling three hours.
When the show was over, our group quickly made our way to the stage door and managed to see several actors making their way out, even getting to hang out with Asif Khan, who played Guildenstern!
