Today, we went on a group outing to Back to the Future: The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End, in preparation for the imminent completion of our almost scene-by-scene remake of the original film.

Before the show began, we convened at a nearby coffee shop. Here, by chance, we met Roger Bart: who was to play one of the two leading roles, Emmett “Doc” Brown, in the production. Unfortunately, we did not have time to take a photograph with him: however, two of us were able to have a brief conversation.

The show was well produced and featured some thrilling visual effects: the most notable being the flying DeLorean which did a barrel roll in the air!
